Abstract

The management of the administrative career is a highly important aspect of the professional trajectory of the teacher-researcher in Algeria. To this end, this study focuses on the practices, issues, and perspectives of career management at all its stages, relying on legal and regulatory standards and their evolution. It also analyzes the administrative career management of the teacher-researcher from recruitment to the termination of the employment relationship with the employer. This study further seeks to highlight the most significant stages in the professional life of the teacher-researcher, in light of mobility policies and performance evaluation within the university institution, through better consideration of the aspirations of teacher-researchers, with a view to improving the higher education sector in Algeria.
