Abstract

This study aimed at clarifyng the most important effects of globalisation on the Algerian criminal legislation. Globalisation is a new concept that was dealt with just after the falling down of « Berlin Wall » and the collapse of the Soviet union. It is a real reflection of the domination of the most powerful country in politics, economy, culture and law which is the United States of America and its aliens on the less powerfull countries. The study is devided into two parts, part one : we have dealt with the definition of globalisation in general and specifically the « globalisation of law ». We have also mentioned the important circonstances which helps it to spread. In the second part we have dealt with important effects of globalisation on the Algerian criminal legislation, especially on the principles of the specific and general punishment law.
