The Warning as an Alternative to Public Prosecution under the Code of Criminal Procedure No. 25-14: A Comparative Study with French Law

This study examines the warning measure as an alternative to public prosecution under the Algerian Code of Criminal Procedure No. 25-14, through a comparison with the probationary criminal warning in French law. It adopts a comparative and analytical approach to clarify its legal nature and procedural effects. The study concludes that the French model is based on a conditional suspension of prosecution, whereas the Algerian model relies on a preventive social approach.
