Abstract

In this research, we discuss the evaluation of gains exam for the Arabic language subject for the fifth year of primary school, and we aim through it to identify the mechanisms for evaluating this subject and the difficulties surrounding it. The procedures for this exam are carried out through a comprehensive evaluation of all final competencies, ending with comprehensive competency, by following a set of selected standards and diagnosing The level of achievement of the learner, Accordingly, the aim of adopting this type of examination is diagnostic and therapeutic, especially since it is characterized by comprehensive evaluation of all competencies and the criteria included in them, which helps in in-depth diagnosis of achievement problems. However, there are difficulties surrounding it, given the reality of the Algerian school. For example, For example, the large number of students constitutes an obstacle to diagnosing each student’s weakness in the Arabic language subject, Teachers also need guidance .
