Approaching the History of the Tamazight-Algerian society through the
alternative history, our work falls within the perspective of a socio-historical,
anthropo-semiotic and ethno-semiotic analysis. Our research corpus is the
trilogy titled Izuran of the Algerian writer Fatema Bakhaï through which we
will at frist try to define the alternative history while highlighting its
characteristics. Secondly, we will unveil the uchronic procedures that the
writer resort to, attempting to transform her fiction into a true story which is
supposed to represent reality.
