Abstract

We have studied in this article the legal discourse represented by the 055 decision which is in relationship with the organization of studies in the Algerian university during the covid 19 pandemic, we have focused our interest on the application of the notions of speech acts theory proposed by John R. Searle; in order to examine the language use in legal discourse. We have deduced, at the end of our work, that there is many levels of speech acts in the legal discourse, which aims that their comprehension is graduated between the simple language wordings to the contextual comprehensions of this wordings. Finally, this fact includes that one speech act can be in different categories as declarations, directives…
