Abstract

The description principle, followed by the ancient grammarians in describing their language and constructing its grammatical basis, is mainly relied on formal basses and rules. It describes the linguistic phenomenon as it’s; including its formulations’ categories and what these formulations and constructions can perform, according to the linguistic system and the relationships and grammatical systems linking its parts. They deviated from this principle in many issues in which the emotional and the formal sides haven’t been able to interpret, according to grammar. They followed the conceptual dimension known as the philosophical meaning, which is based on guessing in solving an issue. The linguistic phenomenon isn’t identical to the grammatical rule, so interpretation and estimation have been considered as a basis through which the rule is imposed on the text.
