Abstract

This article aims to reveal the nature of the great influence of Western doctrines on our modern
Arab literature and its criticism, since under this influence many intellectual currents that
enriched the Arab literary have grown and flourished. So what is the position of our critics on
this reception? And were these doctrines able to express our true existence or did they just
borrow faces? The conclusion we reached was the assertion of the non-denial of the diversity
human culture achievement, and the necessity of the civilizational peculiarity of the Arab
nation awareness
