Quality of life and its relationship to orientation towards the future- Among a sample of university students -blida

The study aimed to reveal the relationship between quality of life and orientation towards the futur in a sample consisting of (312) male and female university students at the two universities of Blida, Where it was selected using the intended method and is distributed in terms of sex to(121 male and 191 female students), and in terms of specialization, there were 150 scientific majors and 162 literary majors, the following were applied: the quality of life scale prepared by the student researcher and orientation towards the futur scale designed by Maddox (1982) Mercandante, sherer and all. Throught the application of the descriptive approach and the use of appropriate statistical methods, the study resulted in the following result:
- there is no statistically significant correlation between the total degree of quality of life and the degree of orientation towards the future among university students.
- There is a low level of both quality of life and orientation towards the future among university students.
In light of the findings, this study suggested the need to conduct an in-depth study to determine the basic dimensions of the quality of life of the university student, and the extent to which he understands this concept. In addition to the need to build a counseling program aimed at improving and raising the sense of quality of life among university students. With the need to provide guidance classes at the level of the Algerian university to alleviate the anxiety of the future of the university student and train him to build a future project that achieves a balance between his ambitions and capabilities.
