Perceptions of students from the occupied interior regarding the importance of the practical education course at Hebron University In terms of application difficulties and development proposals- A Qualitative Study

The study aimed to identify the perceptions of students from the occupied interior regarding the importance of practical education at Hebron University, and to identify the difficulties they face and their proposals to overcome those difficulties, by relying on the qualitative approach and using structured interviews, direct observation, and document analysis. The number of participants reached ten, who were chosen intentionally, and the study came out with the following results: The importance of practical education appears from the point of view of students from the occupied interior in translating educational theories into effective educational situations that achieve the desired goals, enhance the trainees’ self-confidence, develop their thinking skills, and highlight the most prominent problems. What they face in practical application lies in the distance and difficulty of access The difficulty of applying theoretical concepts in practical situations in schools, and these problems can be overcome through the cooperation of colleges of education in Palestinian universities with internal students by approving the application in their schools, reducing the hours of practical application in schools, supporting students morally and enhancing their self-confidence, and developing the education course syllabus. the operation.
In light of the results proposed by the study, it is necessary to develop the regulations and laws in force in the Palestinian faculties of education to allow students of the occupied territories to apply in schools near their places of residence. With the need to train cooperating teachers on modern teaching strategies that help prepare student teachers for the teaching profession. In addition to developing the practical education course in line with the characteristics of students and meets their future ambitions.
