Abstract

The aim of this study is to reveal the impact of the internet on the socialization of Algerian children. Technological advancements and digital transformation in all fields have influenced Algerian families and society, leading to numerous changes, particularly with regard to the socialization of children, who are considered a valuable resource. Providing a healthy social, cultural and educational environment in which they can grow is essential in order to develop qualified and capable human resources who can take on responsibility. This study was conducted using a descriptive method with a purposive sample selected for research purposes. A group of families was selected, each consisting of at least one couple and one child. A sample of 10% of residents of the well-known 700 Housing District in the center of Khenchela was taken, resulting in a sample size of 70 families. The study concluded that the internet has both positive and negative effects on the socialization of Algerian children.
