Abstract

Amazigh theater is one of the most important means of communication between the actor and the audience. Recently, performances of what is called monodrama, or what is also called the single actor play, have prevailed, where various roles are played by a single actor who is primarily responsible for conveying messages and dimensions related primarily to society and its various problems and concerns. Political, social, economic, etc., and the research aims to stabilize the Amazigh language and ensure its survival as a living and effective language The research also highlights issues of identity, social justice, and the preservation of various elements of folklore. This research paper came to shed light on the concept of theater performed in the Amazigh language and then delve into the folds of a contemporary monodramatic play performed in the Amazigh language, -the Chawi dialect- titled: Saliha and a Thousand Takliha to simulate the problems of a woman or a female in a patriarchal society and the repression, injustice and oppression that Saliha suffers in silence to lead to Psychological pressure ultimately leads to undesirable consequences.
