Abstract

The study is looking, seekingandsignifying forthe terms: “circle” and “research”in Arabic dictionaries, aswell as tracing the two terms in the Maghrebheritage. This has been made in order todetermine the semantic load of each word, in addition to the moral and educational values (controls) learned from the significance of the two words.Moreover, itsrelationship to the researcher ‘s ethics. Furthermore, it is highlighting our need for heritage, and the heritage need to be studied. The result of looking and tracking process indicated that the word “circle” in Arabic dictionaries means:“displacement and removal,” “roundmachines,” and elevation. However, in the Maghrebian usage, it refers to “round machines”, such as “staring on the eyes,” and it can refer to“marking a with a sign”. The term “search” in dictionaries denotes “asking for something in the soil” or “asking for something” or “stirring up something” or “checking and inspecting” In the second part, the study is tracing the significance of expressions that denote research in the Maghreb heritage, which people may have lost their belief that it is colloquial, and I try to return it to Arabic. And some of these expressions are: hawas, hawat, dawar, flalawaj, qalab, lawaj, lawad, barbash, farkat, barachand it abides the alphabetic order in its addressing. The survey resumed a set of values that can be learned from the significance of the two words, including: the benefit of circle knowledge (purifying hearts from wonder, pride and vanity ...), the sitting members are equal in the circle, the expressive energy of the circle folkloric members.
