Abstract

 The research aimes to analyze some folk tales directed to children that inspired mainly by the oral narrations, highlighting one the attempt of some Algerian writers to convey the tales of grandmothers to children in an effort to preserve the nation’s heritage, but on the other hand, we find some amateurs falling in the trap of stereotypes and repeating the transmission of values in the same way, that had been mentioned by the grandparents in the previous centuries. They were not aware about the development of thought, so that unintentionally they carried an insult to the thought of the young reader through superficial meanings, and the consolidation of some outdated values and customs, such as taking away the rights of women, and promoting to the violence
