Abstract

The academic delay is an educational, psychological, social, and economic problem that attracted the attention of researchers, teachers, school administration and parents, and each in its scope tried to study it to find out its causes, dimensions and treatment method, given the psychological suffering this problem afflicted the late in the first place, society and the family in the second degree, and in view of the loss Economic recorded in the education budget as a result of the annual failure and represented in the huge numbers of students who repeat the year, for this it became necessary to search for the most effective strategies and methods to reduce this problem

    Through this research, we will try to define the academic delay and some concepts related to it and highlight some of its manifestations, forms, factors contributing to its occurrence, and exposure to how it is diagnosed and treated.
