The legal framework of the terrorist crime under the Arab Convention on Combating Terrorism of 1998

All Arab countries have united in a unified regional Arab bloc, resulting in the
conclusion and ratification of the agreement. The Arab Convention for the
Suppression of Terrorism includes a preamble, 42 articles divided into four
sections, and finally, provisions.
The Arab legislator surrounded the terrorist crime with the legal structure that
constitutes it, indicating all its elements represented in: The legal (legitimate)
element, the material, moral, and international element; the terrorist crime is
established by their presence and ceases with their absence.
The Arab Convention on Combating Terrorism is based on six international
agreements to combat terrorism and criminalizes Those various agreements, in the
form of acts of terrorism.. It concerns the criminalization of acts that occur on board
aircraft, namely: (Tokyo 1963) and (The Hague 1970), (Montreal 1971), and crimes
against persons covered by international protection are : (New York in 1973) and
(the hijacking of hostages and their detention in 1979) and (acts of maritime piracy
in 1983).
