Abstract

The corona virus is classified as one of the contemporary events that have become a threat to human life due to the damages it causes to human health. It is a virus that some information suggests is laboratory-made, unknown to communities prior to its emergence. Due to its rapid spread, it has caused significant harm to societies, especially in terms of economy and health. To prevent its spread, countries have implemented precautionary measures, including quarantine laws that require citizens to stay at home, limiting social interaction and leading to a decline in social activities, including criminal activity. Crime rates tend to increase in societies with reduced human interaction, as crime shifts from opportunistic to habitual levels, becoming a source of profit, such as addiction and others. History shows that crime persists under any circumstances, even during the worst conditions and the best  .
