Abstract

The Palestinian issue is considered the most prominent and exciting issue in modern and contemporary political history, whether in terms of the length of the conflict, the ugliness of the crimes of the occupation, or the steadfastness of the occupied people. The issue has posed a major challenge to Arabs in particular and Muslims in general since the announcement of the establishment of the Zionist entity in 1948. Arabs embraced it for decades in the context of Arab nationalism as a unifying identity, and after the beginning of the wave of normalization with the Zionists, the framework of the issue was reduced to the narrow Palestinian sphere. This article comes to address the development of the contexts that embraced this chronic issue, and proposes new circles of interest in it for the purpose of expanding its narrow scope
