Résumé

This study aimed to identify the relationship between emotional intelligence and mental health among third-year secondary school students, in addition to examining whether there are statistically significant differences attributable to the variables of gender and academic specialization. The study adopted a descriptive-correlational approach and included a sample of 110 male and female students from literary, scientific, and technical specializations, selected through a non-random sampling method. The results revealed a positive correlation between emotional intelligence and mental health. Statistically significant differences in emotional intelligence were found in favor of females. However, no significant differences were found in emotional intelligence or mental health based on academic specialization, and no significant differences in mental health were attributed to gender.
