The study aimed to precise the sports topics status through the media coverage, in which this study has focused on the written press as a key element among the media coverage elements which has a big role in attracting and polarizing different layers of society, this study is tending to highlight a survey about the various sports topics readers, for that purpose a portion from el sharak el yawminews paper readers has been taken by addressing a questionnaire consisted of many focal questions about the interest in the status of sports topics through written press asan essential aspect of the media coverage aspects.
