Abstract : Through this study, we aim to know the significance of the text thresholds, which are considered creativity of another kind, dependent on them to attract the attention of the reader before any reading practice of the text, and the novel that we are about to study is rich in these thresholds, the absence of one of which may be in itself an intent laden with encrypted messages that It arouses in the same reader the ambiguity that provokes his curiosity, which pushes him forward in order to discover the surprise inside the pages of this literary achievement
