Towards a (re) transcription of African rites in Broken Glass and Porcupine Memories by Alain MABANCKOU

This reflection is intended as a reading of Broken Glass and Porcupine
Memories by Alain MABANCKOU. Indeed, the emphasis will be on the
transcription of rites, a fundamental component of African oral tradition,
in mixed fictions. But, how are the African rites rewritten? What function
(s) do they have? In short, can recourse to origins condemn writing with a
cosmopolitan aim?
