The phenomenon of interpretation among Arab scholars; The Book of “Equity in Issues of Disagreement” by Ibn Al-Anbari "A Model"
Keywords:
Ibn Elanbari, Book of Equity, InterpretationAbstract
This study aims at studying the phenomenon of interpretation, which is one of the several linguistic phenomena like: estimation, justification, contruing, analogy, deletion, and addition....etc. Actually, the linguistic use of the phenomenon of interpretation has been brought to my attention when I consulted the book of 'fairness in issues of controversy between Kufian and Basrian grammarians' to Ibn Elanbari, and how each of the teams interpreted the issues that contradicted the rule to prove his opinion. I finally concluded that: - Interpretation, in general, refers to transforming speech from its surface to hidden faces that necessitate estimation and reflection. - The grammarians seek for this phenomenon so that their speech will conform to the rules and conventions of grammar. - This term has many connotations, and its connotation as a grammarian term differs from its connotation as one of the essential terms in quranic.
