Abstract

Chronic pain is a problem that haunts many people with chronic diseases or those who have experienced accidents or traumatic experiences. It also hinders a person from his usual activities and changes his lifestyle, in addition to the exorbitant and exhausting cost of treatment for individuals and governments, and this is what calls for researchers to work seriously to find solutions to these problems. the problem.

Recently, the trend of positive psychology appeared, which revolutionized the field of psychology and psychotherapy, and was known for its modern interpretations of psychological problems and disorders and its effective therapeutic interventions with various problems. In addition to his preventive and developmental approach.

There have been many studies that have attempted to investigate the impact of positive psychology interventions with patients with chronic pain, and in this scientific paper we have tried to discuss the literature that seeks to interpret positive psychology for chronic pain and the therapeutic interventions it has suggested and their effectiveness. For this purpose, this paper has been divided into a group. Among the points are: the definition of chronic pain - the definition of positive psychology - the psychological aspects of chronic pain - a vision of positive psychology for chronic pain - positive psychology interventions to alleviate sad pain (acceptance and commitment therapy as a model).
