About the Journal

El Omda in Linguistics and Discourse Analysis is an international scholarly peer reviewed and open access journal that is published semi-annually by the faculty of letters and languages at Mohamed Bou dhiaf University of M’sila. Algeria. It is mostly concerned with the publication of original and high quality articles written either in Arabic, English, or French. The journal publishes researches within the areas related to Linguistics, Didactics, Cognitive psychology, and Discourse Analysis. It is led by an editorial board which includes a scientific advisory committee of professionals and prominent thinkers from national and international universities. The journal receives articles and research papers in the three languages mentioned earlier and it is published twice a year (January & June) and sometimes a special issue might be published when necessary. The journal aims at providing researchers with a scientific space that enables them to introduce their research studies, their experiences, knowledge as well as their scientific productions. Furthermore, it seeks developing and enhancing the scientific research by reaching the requirements of producing scientific knowledge according to the international standards, and this through imposing on the authors a set of conditions that must be rigorously respected
