Abstract

The example is one of the most important ways of teaching Arabic language, because it is characterized by explanatory function of various linguistic phenomena to be taught to the learner, and for that reason it must meet the specific conditions and measures to perform this function; and the most important of these conditions and measures is that the example has to be close to life of the learner of the language, and it has to be familiar to him, so that he can interact with it and can be affected by the cultural and social implications of the example, and this is what we have limited in the condition of pragmatic. and in addition to that, it must be representing the phenomenon of the language in all its conditions and measures, so that it becomes functional, bieng away from the complexity and easy to handle, we have illustrated to this oriented functional pragmatic of the example during the teaching process of the Arabic language, including what was mentioned in the legacy of the scientist of syntax and owners of dictionaries and the rhetoric legacy, in the past and recently, in addition to recommendations and suggestions for the success of the educational process.
