Towards a future vision to build an Arabic computer dictionary, stakes and challenges

Abstract

. The dictionary in the language is a major support and reference for all languages of all kinds and multiplicity of their eras, as our scientists have always been interested in this precious industry, and raised the value of this science and devoted various codes to it over time. If modern life imposed new stereotypes and mechanisms in various magazines and fields, this dictionary must be adapted to modern data, especially with regard to the technical aspect of computers, and due to the utmost importance played by the dictionary in the movement and development of language over times and different regions, computer dictionaries appeared and knew a development at the level of structure and content, as well as various advanced services that can be provided to the user, taking advantage of the enormous potential provided by the computer of technologies and storage capacity for information, with the speed of search And retrieval, as well as the great ability to process different and varied data in various fields. From this standpoint, this article came to study the possibility of developing the lexical industry and keeping pace with the information development, and providing the computer requirements of the Arabic computer lexicon, which would allow transformation and change that serves users of different orientations and visions.
