Abstract

this study aims to shed light on the variations that occurred in the healthcare sector of Ghardaïa due to the global pandemic crisis, COVID-19. It encompasses the healthcare system and its mechanisms based on the changes that occurred as a result of external influences. It also compares the years of the crisis to determine its severity and the trajectory of the virus's development. Furthermore, it seeks to identify the prevention and treatment systems and the functions of the local healthcare system. The study aims to reveal the factors that contributed positively to the resilience of the healthcare sector despite the severity and suddenness of the crisis, considering the available resources and circumstances, such as natural factors, supportive geography, population lifestyle, and the efforts made, which contributed to minimizing the damages.
