Abstract

In addition to international treaties, which are considered among the official sources of public international law, there is another no less important source stipulated in Article 38 of the Statute of the International Court of Justice, international custom, characterized by flexibility, is more applicable and appropriate to reality, and can only be proven by extrapolating precedents and verifying Its frequency, that gives it  flexibility and development, albeit slowly, which is confirmed by international judicial practice, especially the International Court of Justice.
