The affective deprivation of the rescued child and its impact on his motor adjustment

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the significance of the differences between children residing in the childhood
center and children living in ordinary families in the level of emotional deprivation and motor adjustment, in
addition to finding the relationship between them. the descriptive approach was chosen because it is the
most appropriate to the nature of the subject. The study sample was composed of (39) children studying in a
primary school, for the purposes of data collection, the researcher used Al-Jawari's Emotional Deprivation
test (2016), UQAC-UQAM motor adjustment measurement test battery ( Fleury, 2019 ). The results
indicated that there were statistically significant differences in the level of emotional deprivation between
the two groups, and there were statistically significant differences in the level of motor adjustment between
the two groups, and there was an inverse relationship between the level of affective deprivation and motor
adjustment .
