Sports have gone through several stages, from primitive times to the present day, as early peoples practiced some physical activities to express their emotions and feelings, such as running races, wrestling, boxing, climbing, archery, swimming, and some ball games. Sports are a means to obtain physical strength and health, develop self-confidence, and control it with noble morals. Undoubtedly, football is one of the most popular sports in the world, and its popularity extends beyond the number of players to its fans and supporters. It is no wonder, then, that football matches attract the largest number of spectators and supporters. Certainly, football has come a long way through its various stages, and its tactical aspects have witnessed remarkable development recently. Sports psychologists have focused on studying individual behavior and the ways in which individuals act, as well as studying traits, attitudes, inclinations, and mental processes. Psychologists play a crucial role in teaching sports activities, selecting the most appropriate methods for teaching motor skills that align with the learner's aptitudes and abilities. This must be done efficiently and effectively, based on sound scientific principles that facilitate learning. Positive motivation also plays a significant role in modifying individual behavior. (1) Psychologists agree that learning is inconceivable without motivation, hence the numerous attempts to define it. Motivation is considered the driving force behind the behavior of both individuals and animals. There is one or more reasons behind every behavior, and these reasons are linked to the organism's internal state at the time the behavior occurs. On the other hand, external environmental stimuli (2) and Thomas R. consider it a general term pertaining to the organization of behavior to satisfy needs and pursue goals (3). As for Alexon, motivation is simply the desire for success or the activity that an individual undertakes and expects to be performed well (1). We find that motivation in learning is closely linked between the trainee and the trainer, and for this reason, psychology and education have been interested in the subject of personality since ancient times, which has always constituted a touchstone and a field of discussion. Some have looked at it from the perspective of its components, while others have looked at it from the perspective of its dimensions, growth, development, and structure. They also differed in its determinants, between what is hereditary and what is structural, as well as in the methods of measuring it based on multiple and varied theories. This person is characterized by a personality that demonstrates a performance of duty, respect for work, and disregard for traditions; this person is emotional; this person is introverted; and another shows manifestations of anger, nervousness, tension, and so on. All of this has made the study of personality a subject or a point of contention and questioning, and with a great deal of awareness of the differences and contradictions. Personality theory sees that each person Certain traits determine a person's nature and behavior. These theories agree that personality is revealed through behavioral patterns and styles. Personality is always relatively stable, as seen in the football coach's style, approach, methods, and personal feelings. Osama Kamel Rateb (1995) indicates that the aim of studying the behavior and traits of athletes is to discover the psychological reasons or factors that influence their behavior, in addition to the impact of athletic practice itself on their psychological and personal characteristics. This contributes to developing maximum performance and character. (2)
