The study aims to explore the impact of courses on improving fundamental soccer skills (dribbling, passing, control, shooting, heading) for the football team at the Faculty of Physical Education, Sana’a University. It also seeks to identify differences in certain basic skills based on changes in academic levels (first, second, third, and fourth year). The experimental method with pre- and post-testing was used to suit the objectives of the study. The study population comprised beginner students in the Faculty of Physical Education for the academic year 2024-2025, totaling 38 students. A purposive sample of 18 students from the four academic levels was selected by choosing members of the football team participating in the university president's tournament. The main findings of the study were as follows: there are statistically significant differences between the pre- and post-test results in favor of the basic courses, which improved specific skills such as among the selected football team at the Faculty of Physical Education, Sana’a University. However, there were no statistically significant differences in academic achievement scores (first, second, third, and fourth years) regarding the need for these basic skills according to the "academic level" variable. Nonetheless, statistically significant differences were found among the mean scores in (passing skills).
