Abstract

This study aimed to identify the effect of a proposed motor story program on the development of some basic motor skills in the preparatory classes (5-6 years) ;The researcher used a program consisting of kinetic stories that develop the most basic motor skills, Theseinclude transitional and non-transition motor skills,processing and rotation skills. The experimentalmethodwas used to suit the nature of the research, where the sample included 40 boys and girls dividedintotwo groups of 20 boys and girls representing the control group applying the traditional program and 20 boys and girls representing the experimental group applied the proposed program. The researchpaper concludedthatthere are statisticallysignificantdifferencesbetween the post-test results of the experimental group and the control group in favor of the experimental group in the development of basic motorskill
