Abstract

This research paper aims to address the role of educational technology in fostering motivation among secondary school students and the extent to which we are keeping pace with developments in all fields, given the fast-paced nature of our era. The correct approach in this situation is to embrace the realities of various sciences. However, education in the Arab world, particularly in Algeria, lacks innovative thinking and scientific ambition. To keep up with the developments in advanced countries and even neighboring ones, Algeria must liberate itself and work to re-educate its children within the framework of modern scientific education based on creativity and innovation. This is essential for creating motivation among students at all educational levels through the use of modern educational technologies. Teachers often observe that students vary in their enthusiasm for educational activities, whether scientific, literary, or even athletic. Some students engage in educational activities with great enthusiasm, especially when using modern technological tools. Therefore, we will attempt to highlight the role of modern educational technology in fostering motivation among students, particularly those in secondary education.
