Specialists often consider the technical, physical, and tactical aspects of football, frequently attributing responsibility for these to the sports coach. While the nature of sports training necessitates firmness through the use of an authoritative style based on the coach's control, some aspects primarily related to the player on the field, such as the player's psychological state and satisfaction with their assigned role, require the coach to consider this aspect to increase player motivation, especially regarding playing positions and the performance of tactical duties. This, in turn, affects team cohesion and stability. Hence, the question arises: Is there a positive relationship between democratic leadership style and team cohesion in football? The results concluded that: - There is a positive relationship between democratic leadership style and player satisfaction, which is reflected in the overall cohesion of the team. - Democratic leadership style has a positive relationship in clarifying the role of each player within the sports team. - Democratic leadership style has a positive relationship in each player's acceptance of their role within the sports team. - A democratic leadership style has a positive impact on each player's understanding of their role within the sports team. - Dialogue and partnership between the coach and players motivate players to give their best on the field. - A democratic coaching style helps clarify any ambiguities for players on the field. - A democratic coaching style strengthens relationships among team members. This style allows for the resolution of any outstanding issues between the coach and players, and among the players themselves.
