Abstract

Human medicine has managed to control most infectious diseases, but it has proven powerless against many diseases resulting from the shift from a sedentary lifestyle to one of inactivity and lethargy. This underscores the importance of physical activity in preventing modern diseases that have recently become widespread, including osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is a disease that affects the structure and fine arteries of bone, characterized by a significant and abnormal decrease in bone density. To conduct this study, the researcher used a descriptive methodology with a sample of female students in the university dormitories, distributing a questionnaire to assess their participation in physical activity.
