Abstract

since the "term" is the key to the sciences, whose presence we realize in various cognitive processes of its different fundamentals and the ramifications of its branches, the linguistic lesson since ages ago - until this day - has witnessed a great development of linguistic knowledge that has made the grammatical lesson a science that adjusts our speech thanks to the terms developed to achieve ease of performance and facilitation in comprehension.

Considering that each science has terms in which we cannot access it without them as they are linguistic symbols that carry different scientific concepts that distinguish it from other sciences, those who are familiar with the ancient grammatical heritage find a great diversity in the use of grammatical terms in the Sibawayh school through what he employed in his book, making these terms an essential reference in refining the Arabic tongue even if the difference is present in some characteristics, features and concepts between a grammatical term, another morphological and an another phonetic one as can be seen in this book.
