The effect of the grammatical orientation of the readings on the broadening of the meaning of the Quranic text

Abstract

The Qur’anic readings suggest a multiplicity of grammatical aspects of a single word, which allows for a multiplicity of grammatical functions for that word that corresponds to the grammarians’ standards and rules. The meanings that the syntax bears are multiplied, with the integrity of the meaning in each of them.

In the light of this, this intervention came to highlight the impact of the multiplicity of grammatical functions of the word caused by the reading variation of the Qur’anic text and the consequent expansion of the meaning of the text.
