Abstract

The phenomenon of violence is considered one of the most important issues that has occupied human thought, as it represents a constant part of human suffering. The history of mankind has witnessed a series of acts of violence in various forms, which can be observed through the repercussions it leaves in the world. It is seen as a deviant behavior and a complex social phenomenon that raises concern. It has transformed into a style or pattern of life, and we have found ourselves integrated into a world where violence has become a methodology for living. This has led to a re-examination of philosophical discourse and pushed many philosophers to explore the causes and motives behind violence, to investigate and uncover the philosophies that have significantly contributed to its establishment and advocacy. This is an attempt to establish a philosophical discourse that eliminates violence and replaces it with debate and dialogue. Prominent among these is the philosophy of power, which has made it a slogan to achieve its goals, and this is what we will attempt to delve into further through this research.
