Contribution of industrial risk insurance to Algeria’s GDP(2010-2023)

Abstract

This study aims to assess the contribution of the Industrial Risk Section Insurance to Algeria’s GDP growth during the period (2000-2023), by addressing the state of the insurance market and estimating a set of indicators to assess the amount of contribution.  We have reached number of results, the most important is that the insurance sector’s contribution to GDP is affected by the size of insurance premiums. Although industrial risk insurance has contributed to GDP growth, there has been an increasing trend, but the amount of contributions is only 01%.
