The reality and prospects of the Islamic sukuk industry And foreseeing its applications in the Algerian economy

Abstract

This paper aims to study the reality of Islamic sukuk and the challenges they face, while shedding light on some experiences of Islamic countries and through which a proposed framework is presented to activate Islamic sukuk in Algeria.

      The study concluded that the great importance of Islamic sukuk in achieving stability through Characteristics that characterize it. It has also known a wide spread in the recent period despite the presence of some obstacles, the most important of which are: weak public awareness of the culture of sukuk, disagreement in the legitimacy of Islamic sukuk, absence of a legislative, legal and regulatory framework, lack of qualified human resources and this calls for a set of solutions, the most important of which are: selection and development of individuals, necessity Providing a capital market for Islamic banks,amending the organizational structure of the Islamic bank.
