The reality of Startups in Algeria: opportunities and challenges of success - Khidma-Tech as a case study

This study aimed at highlighting the reality of startups in Algeria, and factors of their success and challenges that confront them and expose them to failure as well. To answer the problem of the study, a descriptive analytical approach was applied. A case study approach to cover the case of Khidma-Tech startup, to analyze the strategic situation using a Swot analysis was adopted. The study found that Start-ups in Algeria face several challenges that may expose them to failure, as the financing problem has emerged as the biggest obstacle to start-ups without activating the role of business incubators in addition to lack of customer acceptance of digital services. Diligent work to develop services and gain customer trust, and ambition to target the market are all opportunities available to innovative and ambitious youth.
