Abstract

    This research paper aimes to analyze and evaluat the financial performance of insurance companies in order to discover strenghs and weaknesses to improve them, as well as propose solutions to improve the insurance service, A case on the practical side, where was the study of the financial potition of the Algerian Company for Insurance and Reinsurance (CAAR), The central company of the state of Algeria for the periodfrom 2016 to 2020.

   The study concluded whith generally acceptable results during the studiedperiod, thatis, the financial ratios were in an average state, and this is what made the company enjoy good financial independence.
