This study aimed to analyze the impact of the effective implementation of internal governance mechanisms on identifying the risks of financial failure, enhancing the quality of decisions made, and improving financial performance. To achieve this, a questionnaire was contributed to a sample consisting of 60 accounting professionals (accountants, university, professors, and PhD students specialized in accounting). The data were analyzed using a statistical approach with the SPSS.v27 software. The findings revealed a statistically significant positive impact of the dimensions of internal governance mechanisms on determining the risks of financial failure. The study concluded that institutions that rely on these mechanisms are more stable and more capable of adapting to crises because they contribute to improving internal control and enhancing transparency and accountability.
