This study aims to highlight the role of digital insurance services in promoting financial inclusion in general and insurance inclusion in particular, in light of the digital transformation and technological developments implemented in the financial sector, specifically the insurance sector.
The Egyptian experience is considered worthy of study due to the achievements and progress made in this field during the period (2020–2025). The Egyptian initiative has achieved fairly positive results through the steady increase in the number of beneficiaries of financial services, particularly insurance services, which has contributed to strengthening the positive growth of both insurance inclusion and financial inclusion during the study period. However, public authorities in Egypt still face a number of challenges that hinder the path toward achieving a level of financial inclusion comparable to that of advanced economies.
