Abstract
The Role of the Arabic Language in Preserving the Islamic Identity This research deals with the role of the Arabic language in preserving the Islamic identity and the challenges that the Arabic language faces and ways to address them. The Arabic language is the vessel of Islam and the repository of its culture and it is the language that preserved the literature of this nation and the Islamic culture during the colonial era that tried to impose its language on the language of the colonial Islamic countries, reaching to obliterate the Islamic identity, these attempts were unsuccessful. The Arabic language linked the Muslims in the east and west of the earth with a strong intellectual, verbal and contractual bond
