Abstract

Abstract
The Orientalist studies of ancient Arabic poetry are a source of Western knowledge of Arab culture, through their research, collections, surveys and dissemination of Arabic manuscripts filled with poems of ancient Arabic poetry. The phenomenon of plagiarism in Arabic poetry has attracted the attention of many Orientalists. Although some studies are neither objective nor honest, most research concerns a large number of Orientalists, especially Germans, who have adopted in their spirit of research the spirit of science and neutrality. Through this article, I try to answer this plagiarism problem, which has not escaped the legacy of all previous nations, highlighting the contribution of some Orientalists to the study of ancient Arabic poetry, as well as their points of view and their objectives to ask the question of plagiarism.
