Abstract
This research deals with the
treatment of semiotics character
in the absurd theater of Samuel
Beckett and Salah Abd alSabour, from a comparative
perspective between two plays:
Samuel Beckett "Endgame" and
"Musafir Lil (A Night Traveler)"
by Salah Abd al-Sabour. The
treatment came in three subjects:
The first subject: deals with the
concept of semiotics and
dimensions from the perspective
of some semiotics critics e.g. the
American philosopher Charles
Sanders Pierce (1839-1914), and
Umberto Eko, and, Yuri Lutman,
and to draw a specific concept
corresponds and study Semiotic
personality from a comparative
