Generative theory is considered as one of the modern famous linguistic theories that many have written about as a field of application in many phenomena of language and syntax. This paper deals with the origins and foundations of this theory and the most important ideas that Chomsky launched in its construction. The researcher tries to explain the most important linguistic approaches between the nature of transformation in this theory and in Arabic grammar to clarify the important close link between the aspects of generation in Arabic grammar and other languages.
