Abstract

Psychological and educational guidance and guidance programs occupy an important place in the educational process in order to build the personality of students integrated in different aspects of their personality, so it is necessary to take care of them and help them to develop their potential and abilities and solve their problems and achieve their adjustment and psychological compatibility, and to achieve A school psychologist must be able to provide them with various counseling services.

Accordingly, the school psychologist is an urgent necessity imposed by the social conditions of different countries, and Algeria, like other countries, hastened to appoint the position of an academically qualified school psychologist, who holds a bachelor's degree in one of the disciplines of psychology, with the experience and information that qualifies him. To perform its role to the fullest, through the provision of psychological, social and educational services for different age groups in schools, characterized by personal qualities and abilities to solve psychological, behavioral and school problems for both the child and the adolescent in the school environment, whose results are reflected in his school level, leading him to difficulties in Learning, failing or dropping out of school, not to mention psychological problems such as fear, anxiety and depression.

In order to play a positive role, the school psychologist must provide an appropriate school psychologist, in addition to providing various means and tools, in order to provide therapeutic services and Counseling programmers that take into account individual differences, in addition to the use of various methods of psychotherapy aimed at modifying unacceptable behaviours, Applying appropriate strategies in diagnosing and treating the various problems that students face in the school environment, in addition to the solidarity of all the workers in the school environment, teachers and management on the one hand and parents on the other in order to achieve the adjustment and psychological compatibility of students with themselves and their environment, in terms of Provide them with adequate information, which helps them to integrate into society.
